Mechanical Engineer (Rotary) OMV (Pakistan) Exploration GmbH

Description :
To provide technical discipline support for ensuring availability of facilities in the area of machinery and Rotary equipment maintenance.

Key Accountibilities :
• Provide technical support for machinery & rotary equipment selection, design review & evaluations and safety studies.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting of problems at running plants, commissioning and construction activities.
• Standardize specifications of machinery and rotary equipment for all modifications and new developments.
• Review applicable maintenance procedures and maintenance costs to improve the equipment effectiveness.
• Evaluate spares consumption & requirement and help field staff in inventory optimization.
• Monitor vibration analysis, review predictive maintenance requirements and evaluate operating modes of plant.
• Evaluate & monitor equipment efficiency, benchmark performance and propose modification for improvement.
• Evaluate oil & utilities consumptions and suggest improvements.
• Support maintenance strategies implementation process and perform FMECA / RCA techniques wherever necessary.
• Approve, within the level of authority, engineering design and deviations from design standards.

Qualification :
• BE (Mechanical) from any HEC recognized university;

Experience :
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in equipment design, operation and maintenance.
• Familiar with applicable international standards, Plant design specifications & philosophies, statutory regulations & requirements for safety & environment.
• Familiar with other design engineering, construction & commissioning activities.
• Strong technical background in oil and gas processing plant maintenance with demonstrated experience in working with contractors.
• Thorough knowledge of safety in plant maintenance operations, maintenance strategies like RCM, RBI, TPM, RCA etc.
• Proven communication, good coordination & interpersonal skills

Civil Engineers Job as Project Engineer

Job Description:

Main Purpose of Job
The Project Engineer based in Rajanpur would be expected to provide support to Rajanpur Programs in accordance with organization guidelines. He/she will be responsible for working with communities through social mobilization unit and design local projects in accordance with organization vision, mission and objectives. Following this, (s)he is to follow organization's systems and procedures in technical issues; mainly related to organizational development.

Job Responsibilities
As part of the programme management unit and under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities:
  • Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets and specifications for the successful implementation of the projects
    Full working knowledge of surveying techniques and procedures is necessary
    Prepare detailed cost estimates, planning, implementation and technical feasibility for project proposals
  • Determine staff input and time requirements for project construction, implementation and supervision
  • She/he shall at all times know progress of the ongoing projects with respect to planning and should be able to give details of why project ahead/behind schedule at all times
  • Provide complete support during supervision of constructions; carry out quality control inspections and monitor progress
  • Develop standard drawings, bills of quantities and detail materials list for projects
  • Provide basic technical trainings to the local communities for the sustainability and construction of school buildings.
  • Where possible develop and propose new projects
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Sc)
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years experience in construction of building projects.
Language skills:
  • Effective verbal and non verbal communications and convincing skills.
  • Must be a good listener
  • Fluent in English - Urdu and Local Languages
Essential requirements:
  • Knowing billing procedures, material quality testing, AutoCAD
  • Good analytical, planning, prioritizing and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication & report writing skills
  • An ability to work towards deadlines independently
